CONCURSO DE RELATOS EN INGLÉS

Ya se conoce el fallo del I Concurso de Relatos Navideños en inglés de la UPCM. 
El relato I played Santa Claus (Cuando hice de Santa Claus) de Juan José Ortega, alumno del grupo de Inglés Básico Nivel 2, fue elegido, en apretada votación, por sus compañeros como el ganador del certamen.

Este es el relato (y su versión en español): 
When I played Santa Claus 
About fifty years ago, when I was around sixteen years old, a friend asked me to dress up as Santa Claus and bring gifts to his nephews. He had told them that he knew Santa Claus and that he was going to tell him to come to their house. He convinced me, and I went, wearing a red hat, a white beard, and speaking in a deep voice. The children, who were six and seven years old, were impressed. They hardly spoke during the time I was there. My friend told me that were happy playing with the gifts I had brought them.
A few months later, I went to my friend´s house, knocked on the door, and the children opened it. I told them my name was Juanjo and I was friend of their aunt, and they both remained silent. Then I heard my friend asking who it was, and they both said: Santa Claus.

Cuando hice de Santa Claus
Hace alrededor de cincuenta años, cuando yo tenía unos dieciséis, una amiga me pidió que me disfrazara de Papá Noel y llevara regalos a sus sobrinos. Les había dicho que conocía a Papá Noel y que iba a ir a su casa. Me convenció. Disfrazado con un gorro rojo y una barba blanca, puse la voz más grave que pude y fui a verles. Los niños, de seis y siete años, se quedaron impresionados al verme, apenas pudieron hablar durante el tiempo que estuve allí. Mi amiga me comentó más tarde que fueron felices jugando con los regalos que les había llevado.
Unos meses más tarde, volví a visitarles. Llamé a la puerta y los niños me abrieron. Les dije que me llamaba Juanjo y que era amigo de su tía. Ambos se quedaron en silencio. Entonces oí a mi colega preguntarles que quién era, y ambos respondieron: Papá Noel.
